The album takes off with, previous released single Crystallize, lyrically concerning missing cultural criticism and it is set up with a Neil Young’ish inspired hook and moog in the horizon. Devices stands out in its loose country vibe, twisted in a black seagull’s perspective, containing reflections of time and age. Wake up dreaming originally came up when Benjamin brought in a baritone guitar. Lyrically the song contemplates on dilemmas occurring when people attempts to comply different sets of value-systems. Also, Bjarni, guitarist dreamt the solo part. Silence is broken, is a song about conflict… The bridges has been burned, dialog has failed. The lyrics is musically translated in to mariachi, with pictures of high noon showdown, in a bed of grief, scars and anger.
